Let's see your best deal of the week!

Mine was a deal that almost wasn't. Since I've been saving all the coupons from the paper to put in the coupon train, I ended up saving one that I normally wouldn't have since I don't use that product. Then when I was going through them, I realized I had a great one. It was for a free Bic Soleil razor. I'll try anything as long as it's free. So I got a razor that's usually $6.99 with two refills for only the cost of the tax-- 49 cents!!

I'm getting that too! I'll have to post my entire list when I get back. I'm using that and all my other "free" coupons at Winn Dixie so that I can use my 10 dollars off a 50 dollar purchase--I start off taking the 10 off, taking the free's off, and then getting the 3 free weekly items, and then any other coupons I have. WOOT!

Last Winn Dixie for me was 13.91, and I saved over 63.00! I love those deals. I'll put the list, though, when I get back from the store.

Okeedokee...

here's what I got:

2 6-packs of boost Glucose control
2 packs of pop tarts
one 64 oz. fruit punch
one jar claussen pickles
one bag of dole salad blend
2 packs of split chicken breasts (enough for two meals for us)
2 packs of tyson chicken tenders-frozen
one box Kashi go lean crunch cereal
one box of kleenex
four tubes of cover girl incrediful lipsticks

TOTAL: 24.34.

saved: 67.42.

Of course they didn't have any more of the razors.

I had a $10 coupon, both types of chicken were BOGO, I had a boost BOGO coupon, the punch, kleenex, and salad were this week's freebies, the pop tarts were BOGO, and the lipsticks were BOGO *plus* I had a BOGO coupon, so I paid for 1 and got 4, and I had a .55 off the pickles, a coupon to get the Kashi for free, 1.00 off the already BOGO tyson chicken, and I think that's it...

woot.

My recent "steals" are.......

2 packs of 5 Hanes panties on clearence at Target for $1.48 each. That's like 30cents a pair.

And filled 2 prescriptions at Target (at different times) one was $4 the other was $12.99...used 2 CVS coupons for a free $25 gift card with a new prescription. So the prescription total was $16.99 and the free gift cards were $50, they paid me $33.01 to get my meds. Gotta love that!

I don't have a specific item on which I got my great deal - it was the store. This week SuperFresh doubled $1 coupons to $2. So I took full advantage...and saved over 75% on my total shopping trip.

That's a really good deal! Stores around here don't even have regular double coupons, let alone letting you double $1 coupons. I've never heard of SuperFresh; what state do you live in?

I live in Maryland. The store is also known as A&P in a lot of places - they're pretty widespread.

I always shop the Target clearance aisle in the baby section. A month ago, I got 40oz powder formula for $8. I bought 3 cans. This time I got liquid, ready to feed similac - 1 quart for $3.50. The dates are all fine on the formula, so I don't know why they are over 50% off. We're going to visit the in-laws over Memorial Day weekend, and we can't use their water for Alex's formula. It's well water. So, it's so much easier to buy the already prepared stuff. Plus for the trip in the car. And I love it when I can get it for half price!

They also had onesies for $1.98. It was a five pack of boy onesies for newborns - 5-8lbs. I thought about picking some up, but I have SSSOOO many onesies, that at even for $2, I don't need 5 more. I may go back and get them just so I can sell at a yard sale though.....
