This weekend was our gigantic fantastic-o yard sale. My friend and I went in together, and her mom helped out, so there were three of us with items in the sale. Since I just moved, I had the most stuff because of all the sorting while packing (and the fact that I have too much crap). I hate yard sale pricing, because I never know what a fair deal really is, and all weekend the other ladies were yelling at me for undercutting the price on my stuff. Whenever I didn't have a clue, I asked for a quarter. Haha. I figure, you only need four of them for a dollar!

Anyway ... 2 days worth of sale-ing are over, and I've hit the jackpot. We netted $266.61 (I still don't know how we got a penny), and *drum roll* $113.50 of it was mine! Why was I not selling stuff before? Was I crazy? I off loaded stuff, I made some cash, and I learned where you can take left over books to sell them to the used book resalers. I'm being frugal, and I'm loving it!

... just wanted to share.

Off to find a place to stash my $113.50 ...

That's a pretty good profit off stuff you don't want anymore. I used to love having garage sales. Now I don't have them for two reasons: 1. I have nothing to get rid of since I like having a minimal amount of possessions. and 2. Around here, you need to buy a permit to have a garage sale and that'll eat up some of your profit unless you're selling furniture or high-end stuff.
