I have myself in a spot where I spend 100-125 a month. It's a necessity that I keep it down to there. I get WIC, or I wouldn't be able to keep the grocery bill quite that low.

I spend $400-$450 for a family of 4. I could easily get by on $300-$350 though if I didn't have to deal with food allergies.

We have two adults, one infant, and two older kids on the weekends in our house. I budget $75 a week but I always end up spending more if good sales pop up at CVS or if I run out of something unexpectedly. The budgeted money includes all toiletries, cleaning supplies, and most of the baby's supplies.

I've only been keeping careful track for since the start of the year, but it seems like we can keep it to $100/week for groceries, pet supplies, toiletries, household stuff, basically anything that's bought to be used at home!

I budget between $400 and $500 for 5 adults, two of whom are boys with abnormally high metabolism and as such huge appetites. That includes everything. Lately, I've been keeping it WAY down (see: grocery challenges), but I think that's mostly luck, good coupons, and sales.

This is something that I have to work on getting down. I typically spend $300/month for 2 adults and that includes food, toiletries, paper products, cleaning, etc. and about $250 or so for Alexis, which includes diapers, formula, food. That is way toooo much! I would like to get this down to $300/month for all 3 of us. Do you ladies think that is possible???

With the cost of formula, probably not down to $300, but I'm pretty sure you could get it to $400!

I have been spending $500 a month for 2 kids, 2 adults - including all toiletries, dog foods, cat litter, etc. Now I have budgeted $125 every 2 weeks for just groceries, $30 every two weeks for household items, $25 for Animal expenses. That is a grand total of $180 per 2 weeks and $360 for the month.
