Anyone see this deal? 9.99 in the ad- 9.99 ECBs and they have a rebate for purchase price up to $50 on them. Niffty.

Also, has anyone else found the rebate form for the auqafresh toothpaste? Up to 4.99 rebate on those.

I bought one of the blood testers. I got around dh questioning it because I said the dentist said I should keep a watch on my bloodsugar due to family history. He just shrugged. I was so glad I didn't get the angery face.

Was the MIR in the box? If so I may go do this just to make $$$ on the deal! But I want to be certain this is it before I stop there.

I saw in the August ad another tester for 76.99 with 40 EB with a 36.99 MIR. I considered it...thinking I could maybe sell it??? But...I don't think I'll go through the trouble!!

I just think I would have a hard time spending $40 of EB's in one trip.

As for the Aquafresh MIR's, they had them at my CVS on an end display.

The tricky part with glucometers are the test strips, not the meters themselves. They basically give those darn things away more than they don't, but then they charge you $50 for a box of testing strips. It makes me cranky all the time. So far this year I've gotten two free meters ... in the mail. They just showed up. LOL. One of them thanked me for being a valuable customer. I've never ever given them my money.

Nice job on the freebie, though. Just watch the sales for strips, or convince your regular doc to write you an Rx for them if you A: have insurance and B: don't have a ridiculous copay or deductible.

Yes, the box said $50 MIL and inside the box was the sheet. Speeking of which, I need to send it out. I may not even use the darn thing. It's good to have though, my dad and grandfather are diabetic. So maybe when they are over, they can use it. I'll just have the dr do mine when I'm in there for other stuff.
