my mom works at the post office, which I've talked about before. Well, she got transferred to MacDill Air Force Base not all that long ago.
Well, she just called to tell me that they're on LOCKDOWN! They got a "suspicious letter" addressed to the commanding officer, with no return address, but international stamps. So now HazMat is there and they are all locked down and under high security.
anyway... if you happen to see anything about MacDill on the news, FL girls, just remember that you read it here first.
We had a suspicious package at work about 2 months ago. It was making a noise and shaking. They called the bomb squad to come check it out. It turned out to be a vibrator that some how got turned on I thought that was sooo funny.

HazMat contains it and blows it up. My mom said it actually only took about an hour and a half, and aside from putting them behind it was a nice paid break. I don't think it was on the news... too bad. Ah well. I'm glad it wasn't anything horrible, or else she would have had to strip, have her clothes destroyed, get decontaminated, etc... that would have been no fun for her!
