Well I made a pre-CVS run tonight to check to see if they already started their sales for next week (and they had!). I'm still planning on going tomorrow to get some of the stuff I didn't get tonight (and some stuff using my other card). Here is what I got tonight:

1 Bic Soliel Razor
2 Mendatent Tootpastes
2 Degree for Women Deos
2 Right Guard Deos
2 Suave Hairprays
1 Cottenelle Bathroom Wipes
2 Carefree Pantiliners
1 Arm & Hammer Toothpaste
1 12pk Caffeine Free Pepsi
4 12pk Sierra Mist

After coupons and the ECBs I used all I paid OOP was $0.18!!!! The cashier was soooo happy for me. I got back $5 in ECBs. I think I SHOULD have got back $7 put the ones for the mentadent didn't print. I'm thinking it may have been because they were in the system for $1.75 instead of the $1.99 as advertised so maybe the system thought I had the wrong ones or maybe it's similar to how the aquafresh was at first and it will only print one at a time (it did print one which I'm guessing was for the A&H but it says thanks for buying A&H or Mentadent)? DH wouldn't let me go back and ask because they were closing and since they were only $1.75 each and I had a $2 coupon on each one they technically already paid me to take them so he wouldn't let me fuss about it. He got me to drop it by saying I could just print more coupons and go back to get more tomorrow since my offer limits not reached.

Awe man! You did so good. I am still training to get my coupons together. I still need to look up the ad online (since I don't get one ) I may just go to one of the CVS's in Louisville instead of driving up to Salem. Let me know if you are going to be down this way. We could go together.

I don't get an ad either...I really wish I did...it's easier to look at the ad than online!

I hate looking at them online. Can you believe that she gets hers on Wednesday with the free town paper? Make me jealous!

So why don't you steal hers on Thursday? She's already had the chance to look at it.

I don't get mine until Sunday either. The only one I get in the Wednesday paper is the Jay-C one (Kroger knock-off). So I had to look online too . I would have totally shared it with April if I had it early!

Hmm I should start going to CVS more often... I used to go all the time when I lived in New Jersey and ever since I moved here, not so much. How do the ECB's work? I've had a CVS card for YEARS but I haven't gone there to buy anything since I moved here 4 years ago

*edited for spelling error*

I found my explanation from an old post. Here you go:

There are two ways to earn ExtraBucks. One is just by spending money at CVS. They divide the year into quarters and give you 2% cash back on all your purchases for that quarter. They use the total before any coupons or discounts (EB's) that you use for the transaction so even though you may save alot you get the credit for the whole purchase price. After the quarter ends, your EB's will print on your receipt and can be used immediately.

The other way to earn EB's is to buy items that have EB's as a reward. They'll show all the items for the week in the flyer. Buy whatever item(s) they may be and the EB's will print out on your receipt. Some items have a limit of one transaction per item per card, but some have no limit. Check the fine print in the ad underneath the item. The only thing to remember about the EB's is that you must exceed the amount of the EB's when you redeem them because they will not give you change back.
