The coupons came today, finally. I've been wondering where they were, since I was sure you sent them when you said you did. Anyway, I got the envelope and it was stamped on the outside FOUND IN SUPPOSEDLY EMPTY EQUIPMENT DH and I laughed about that for quite some time. Apparently that's the post office's way of saying "Oops, we screwed up. Sorry."

Anyway, thanks for the coupons

If they have a stamp for it, doesnt that make you think it must happen a lot?

I mean, if they lost stuff in empty bins it so often that is was worth it to get a stamp for it....

That's so funny. I've never heard of that kind of stamp before. I'm glad they finally made it to their destination. Did you happen to see what date the postmark said?

It's postmarked the 13th of August. I just thought that was too funny, I've never seen anything like it from the post office.

Yeah that means the post office goofed up. I've seen mail from 2 years ago turn up, and they stamp that on it. My favorite is when the mail gets ripped up and they put it in the plastic envelope and say they're sorry.

I worked at our campus post office in college, not quite the same but we worked very closely with the local post office. I saw my fair share of weird things working there. This was a totally new one to me!
