Do you buy clothes for the next year (particularly for your kids) when the sales are on at the end of the seasons? For example, right now several stores have clearance on summer clothes. Would you buy them for next summer for your kids?

I do a little, but usually not much. The only time I really bought ahead was before Dane was born, and that came back to bite me in the butt because he grew way faster than I expected!!! I have learned with him that clearance shopping ahead of time may not really save me money because I never know when he's going to have a massive growth spurt!

I do because we do not a major difference in seasons here. So the chances of clothes fitting at the appropriate season is very good.

I went to Dollar General yesterday, and they had 50% off summer clothes. I picked up clothes for the kids for next year, guessing sizes (a little on the big side if anything). I think the most expensive item was $4. I got some shirts for me too that were $3 or $4.
