I went in to the doctor today because I was having a little bit of brown spotting last night and this morning.
She put in a speculum to check me out and didn't see any active bleeding. But then she did an ultrasound and there was no heartbeat. The baby had not grown any from the last u/s (10 days ago). All she could see was a fetal pole and she said it was too small to measure. It actually seemed smaller to me than it was last time.
She said she was 100% sure this is a miscarriage.
If it doesn't happen naturally before Friday, I will probably have a D&E then but I told her I want an u/s done beforehand just for my own piece of mind.
After the exam and u/s I've been having red spotting. I don't know if it it's from the exam or if my body is already started to miscarry.

Oh, Shannon, nooooo! I am so sorry. I had so much hope that everything would be okay because you had gotten through every obstacle so far. I know I can't say anything that will make you feel better. I am just so sorry that you won't be able to have your baby. I know we were all hoping that would not be so. I'm sorry. Please tell us if you need anything.
