Many of you know that I am brand-loyal to Classico. One of the only things I am brand-loyal on. Well, Safeway has them on sale for $1.77 each (already half price), plus there are blinkie machines on the shelf for $1/2, making them only $1.27 each. So, I bought 10 of them thinking what a great deal I was getting and then a $2 OYNO catalina printed! So I'm wondering to myself how many I need to buy to get the cat. I tried 4 (using the cat from the previous deal), and it printed again! That made it $3.08 for 4, or 0.77 each! Needless to say, I'll be going back for more! They don't expire til July '09! I better get a rebate check soon, I'm running really low on funds, lol.

Yeah for good deals!! We're brand loyal to Prego and I was able to get them for 0.32 a jar at Kroger last week. I was STOKED. I may or may not have over 20 jars of it now but hey, they don't expire until 2009 either so yeah!!!

wow! Thats an awesome price! We use Classico or Newmans or 5 brothers. We aren't into the other brands much.

I don't think I've ever had Classico. And I'm not going to try it until I use my 20 jars of Prego .

I actually bought a couple different jars of bertolli to try before I bought 20, and we don't like it, me or the kids. So I didn't buy it. Thank goodness. I guess I really am truly brand-loyal to Classico.

Did you try the Bertolli red sauce or the alfredo? Because I don't like their spaghetti sauce but the alfredo rocks my world.

alfredo has eggs in it and my boys are deathly allergic to eggs, so they aren't allowed in the house. Red sauce only.

Aww sorry about the boys' allergies! The alfredo I make doesn't have eggs in it? I'm not sure about the bertolli though but I would think not otherwise it wouldn't can well.

When I make it from scratch it's just heavy cream, butter and cheese.

Yep. I always order my steak medium well but end up liking DH's medium rare one much better. We must be opposites. I love anything sour. I'll bet you hate that, right?

I used to like raw meat but now I prefer it medium/medium well. Chris tells them just to heat it up and bring it to him, lol.
