Which messed up my whole plan (our CVS stores start the next week sales on Saturday nights). I was going to get the Advil which was supposed to be $4 and $4 back in ECB. Well apparently the FDA approval has been delayed on it so they don't have it. They were "subsituting" some other Advil but with a sales price of $4.99 and only $1 ECB...mmm, what? How is that a substitution?

Plus apparently there's a typo with the pepsi's. One page shows them at 2/$5 and another shows them at 3/$10. They rang up $2.50 but only up to 4 then it was regular price. The page that showed the 2/$5 price said limit 3 but the register let 4 ring up at that price . The manager couldn't figure it out.

Here was my original plan:

5 12pks Pepsi (I was thinking they'd ring up at $3.33 each)
4 24ct Excedrin (raincheck)
1 Degree Deo
1 Advil MS
Was supposed to be $1.65 plus tax using all my ECBs and getting $9 in ECB back.

Here is what I got:

4 12pks Pepsi
5 32oz Gatorade
4 24ct Excedrin
1 bag snacksize M&Ms
1 Full Size Degree Deo
1 Trial Size Degree Deo
OOP was $1.94 plus tax, I kept $2 of the ECBs I had before I went in and got $5 back.

Still good, I just hate when my plan gets messed up.

That is totally not a substitution then!!! What the heck! I guess I won't be making my dollar on that then!

Hm, that's weird news on the Advil. I believe this was going to be free after RR at Walgreens this week also. Was being the key word there, I guess!

Wonder if Walgreen's substitution will be any better.
