New mom here, and 'relatively' new wife (under 3 years). STILL looking for good ideas for delicious, but inexpensive, meal ideas, homeade or store bought. I'll take whatever you guys got!!! LOL. So, what's your secret for a rainy day?
Thanks!

My favorite frugal thing to do is invent stuff around my cheapie .99/lb. ground turkey. If I can add a dollar's worth of ingredients and some homemade bread, I can still have a meal for 3 bucks or less. woot.

For meals on the cheap I try and center the main course around meatless entrees. I like to make bean tacos or burritos inexpensively! You can get a can of beans for under a buck and I can often get the taco shells for under a dollar! Add some grated cheese and sour cream and your in good shape!

Also you can't get much cheaper than pasta!

I forgot...something else I do is serve almost everything with rice or potatoes. They're cheap. They're filling. Therefore, they're frugal.
