I guess ants are a common problem after it rains...... *sigh*

I have a friend who lives in the same appt complex, also upstairs, also has ants! So I guess its pretty common problem here.

I might just get some traps and see if those help. I'm also vacuuming under the table/ scrubbing floors after every meal now. Blegh. Such a pain!

I agree to contact your landlord about pest control but I'll also tell you what worked for us...Fantastik Orange. They apparently hate the stuff. We had them pretty bad in our kitchen 2 years ago. I sprayed the perimeter of the kitchen, and the countertops with this stuff and let it sit for a couple hours before going back and cleaning everything down. I also may have decimated every little ant I saw while doing this by spraying them repeatedly with the Fantastik. I used it in outside shed too, sprayed the perimeter down. Used a whole bottle but haven't seen an ant since.

put equal parts vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray the counters and let dry. Also, putting black pepper at the site where they come into the apartment will work.
