Dagnab them...
Two weeks ago, I had trouble with a printed coupon. The girl was acting like I'm a fraud just because it was for 1.10 off instead of 1.00 (their supposed new "limit" for IP coupons

)
I had contacted corporate, and the manager called me back. He was apologetic and offered me "something for my trouble" which I declined. I wasn't trying to get something for nothing; I was simply letting them know that not all people that use coupons are frauds!
Fast forward to today...
I wanted to go for the last day of this week's really good sales...
I had my two boxes of the new oatmeal, two boxes of sweet & salty crunch granola bars (that I had a coupon to get free with the oatmeal), and two more boxes of regular quaker granola bars since they are BOGO this week...
and some other stuff. I'll get to that in a minute.
She was doing the coupons, and said that she couldn't let me use both of the free granola bar coupons because one already rang up free. She argued and argued and I kept saying, "I can't help which one your computer took off and showed as free... I got FOUR boxes of granola bars. Two are being paid for by the manufacturer with that coupon right there. The other two your store decided to throw in for free--that's not my problem; it's your problem."

Finally I was like, "would you feel better if you void them all off and ring in FIRST a s&s one, then the regular one, then a s&s one then a regular one so that when you run the freaking coupons, it's taking off the ones I'm "paying" for?" She kept saying, "you can't get FOUR BOXES of free granola bars. You have to pay for
something." I said, "no I don't. It's your sale. YOU are givine me two, and the manufacturer is giving me two with those coupons right there. The STORE sale is separate from the manufacturer deal!"
She finally comped it as a publix coupon for only 2.79 (instead of the 3.25 that the manu coupon rings up at.

)
I gave them a second chance because the manager promised that they'd all been refreshed on the coupon policy! Apparently he forgot to refresh THIS lady!!
Anyway... here's what I got:
6 cans of bush's beans (5 small various, one large can of baked--had two .50/3 coupons)
4 boxes of granola bars (BOGO/2.79 and the two were free--one with an overage instead of two. and I had a 1.00/2 coupon for the other two boxes)
2 boxes of simple harvest oatmeal (2/5.00 and had two 1.00 coupons)
1 silk soy milk (had a 2.00 coupon)
4 cans of del monte veggies (BOGO)
4 bottles of A-1 marinade (BOGO/2.99 and had 1.00 coupons for each one)
4 bags of the m&m/mars candies minies (BOGO/2.50 and had two 1.00/2 coupons)
a 2.26# chuck roast (on sale for 2.49/lb. and had a 1.00 coupon for when I buy the A1, I save a buck on beef)
a 2.16# chuck roast (same as above)
.94# top round steaks, thin cut (same coupon as above; not on sale though)
.99 # sirloin tip steaks, thin cut (same as above)
My total should have been: 79.40 I used all the above coupons plus a 10/50 coupon from WD. My OOP was: 20.26, and I saved 59.14. My OOP
SHOULD have been 19.80, though.

Yes, I'm angry about 46 cents...
stupid mean hooker.
The beef from this purchase was separated into 4 roasts and the two packs of steaks, so that's six meals' worth.

Plus all the other stuff for only 20 bucks... I'm relatively pleased with that... *sigh*
