For those who are all done with shopping, post your results here!

I'm way over, but I'll still post it up...

Good thing I am usually flat broke. I don't have a big enough house to spend this much every month! I'd have to buy a 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse to spend this much every month! lol

I saved more than you ? I'm afraid my savings are going to be non-existant next month *sigh*. Milk never goes on a great sale and there is never a sale or a coupon for Carly's yogurt. I'm so excited for my buy "nothing" month! How crazy is that? Although, Kim, my budget is still as much as your normal budget is

DH has been doing the shopping for me since last week. How scary is that!? LOL! Actually, I shouldn't complain because so far we've done really well. I haven't figured for this week yet; I'll post results on Monday.

OK... I am so done... and I am SO FREAKING OVER!

There is no way, as I said before, that I could do this every month. I just couldn't. I don't have the SPACE to do this every month! This is just way too much to spend for us... we don't need that much stuff!!

TOTALS:

amount budgeted for month: 135.00

amount spent: 305.76 holy freakin' CRAP!!! I haven't spent that much in a month since I was working...

monthly over or (under): 170.76 over.

monthly total amount saved in specials, rebates, and coupons: 679.14 + 15.97 rebates=695.11

TOTAL EARNED FOR SCHOOLS IN BONUS PROGRAMS THIS MONTH:

Publix: 10.00
Winn Dixie: 17.00
Sweetbay: 15.00

200 bonus points from Campbell's labels for education

I went over budget, but only because I used my own spending money to stock up on a few things.

I budgeted 250, I spent 280.40, over 30.40. Saved 273.21 I'm not sure how to do the percentage of savings

Liz - You add together what you spent and your savings to get what you would have spent with no sales or coupons, you then divide what you saved by this total:
280.40+273.21=553.61
273.21/553.61=49%

Way to go!!!

49% Liz! Good job. Just divide the total savings by the total value of the groceries (amt spent + amt saved) and you have your percentage.

ETA: lol, posted at the same time as Sarah.
