I am ready to kill my DH. He threw away two of the boxes I needed UPCs off of. I tried to send it away earlier and he had thrown two of the UPCs away. So, I bought those two items again and figured that they would not notice since it was the exact same item. Then, I discovered he did it again!!!!!!

I actually bought a box of snack sticks last night since they were bogo again and we plan to use them for my baby's first birthday party tomorrow, but I could not convince myself to pay full price for another box of Frosted Flakes. My DH saved UPCs I did not need from Special K, etc., but they are not on the receipt. How picky do you think they will be?? I also bought Kelloggs stuff on separate receipts before I realized it had to be on the same one. This may be costing me more than it is worth!!!!!

What size frosted flakes? I think I have a box. If it's the same size I'll send you the UPC.

DHs can be such a pain. When I did the deal I came home and cut the UPCs off as I was putting the stuff away because I didn't want him to have the opportunity to throw the stuff out plus I didn't want to forget.

Ugh! We made that mistake too, and I had to buy MORE cheez its!

I learned my lesson with that, and informed everyone that NOTHING was to be thrown away unless it was approved by ME.

I think this is the ONE instance where my DH not throwing things away has come in handy.

He will put empty cartons of OJ back in the fridge, empty cereal boxes back in the pantry and not even notice what he has done...

Once I found a tupperware container of leftover butterbeans IN THE CABINET with all the empty tupperware containers. Luckily I found it maybe a day after he did that...

I also cut the UPCs off when I put stuff away as we had the SAME PROBLEM with the flippin' CheezIts. Now we have a freezer full of Eggos with a random hole in the bottom of the box.
