$500K in savings, $300K to pay off everything we owe (including current house, which I would turn around and sell) and to buy a nice newer house, $200K (or more) to help out family and do something fun like a vacation.

Pay off debt, give to a few Christian ministries that we support, buy my house, give about 100k to each of my parents, put most of the rest into a high yield money market account.

Come on! You're no fun. *pouts*

If I had a million dollars, I would do the following:

Buy a house
Buy a car
Get Lasik
Take a vacation to Boston
Donate some to charities for animals
Give some away to my family/friends
Save the rest

Oh, and......*take Kim out to a fancy dinner*

Mine would involve giving to my parents.

Then I'd have them buy an extra house (after paying theirs off) for me to live in.

I'll stop right there...

It's incriminating enough as it is. lol

Some to church first, then pay off our debts. We'd have to see how much was left after that, hopefully enough to let me be a SAHM.

I would pay off our debt, buy a new house, another car, take a vacation, and the rest would go into savings.

Debt paid off (credit cards, DH's Jeep, student loans, house, etc), a super amazing vacation, high yield savings, possibly some remodeling on the house/garage workshop for my cutie DH, and then I'd start giving it away.

Pay off my house and car first off. Then I would buy one of my dream cars and move out of Western Pa and bank the rest.

ETA: screw the banking part...I can't take it with me I would use the rest to travel!

I would Pay off all debt, house, and buy new car... Also pay off my in-laws house and a portion of my parents... Invest in real estate... Move to the country and start a business buying and land-contracting houses out to people who can't get a mortgage and want the "American Dream" Owning a home... And maybe give the stock market a try...
