I was so excited telling him we could get the CC paid off in one more bill. He then asks me if I was including the $20 he spent yesterday He refused to stop spending on his CCs awhile back, so I put them in my lock box (yes, I know that they are his, but he was out of control with them. A little bit here...a little bit there). It seems that this CC is listed on his Pay-Pal account. He is ALWAYS playing this FREE game. In this free game you have options on buying additional things to make you more powerful. Yeah, he spent $20 on a free game

Naw, he hid it on the credit card he's not supposed to use. He wasn't going to tell me about it. I hounded it out of him because I knew if Derrick did he did too. I'm not mad this time but if he spends any more than that on a "free" game I will probably be ticked.

I would not be putting up with spending money on credit cards behind my back on *free* games online. Oh no. Oh no no no. I would be putting my foot in someone's rear end.

Silly DHs ...

The thing is though, if I don't make a big deal out of it and just tell him not to do it again, he will ask me next time (even though he knows I'll probably say no). If I yelled at him about it we would get in a big fight. It's true that I don't always ask him about money I spend (like the All You subscription I laid out $20 for) and he knows the credit cards get paid off every month but he also knows I'm trying to get us better about our random spending because it adds up.

I told him if he had just asked me chances are I would have said to go for it (although I might have said for $20 instead of $30) because it really is his only hobby and he usually doesn't cost me too much.

He does have a tendency to have a one-track mind though. Like he got in his head he needed a remote control airplane. I wouldn't let him order one of Ebay from Hong Kong and it was all I heard about for a month until I finally let him buy a $30 at Target. He had this "idea" that it would be neat to fly around when Carly or one of our other nieces/nephews comes over, or for the cats. Has he even got it out of the box even though he's had it for a week? No.

Sigh, like I said though he really doesn't cost me a lot. The only thing he usually puts on the credit card is gas. It's just when he gets one of his "ideas"....which is how we wound up with a dishwasher. I just came home one day and there it was because he got it in his head we needed one. He's lucky I had set aside a little extra that month besides what I normally put in savings and I was able to pay it off without any interest hitting on it.

Silly silly men.
