I ran up to CVS during lunch and here's what I got:
2 Crest Pro-health toothpastes
3 3pks of Chapstick (clearance)
1 rolling balls cat toys (clearnace)
Less 5 $1 Beano Coupons
Less 2 $1 Crest Coupons
Less $11 ECBS
Total OOP including tax $3.80!! ($2.88 of this was for the chapstick and cat toys, only 0.92 for the rest)
Saved $35.88 in sales and coupons and walked out with $21.53 in ECB!! Yeah for doubling ECBs for little to no OOP.
Of course I just HAD to find a tearpad for buy 1 Halls Defense, get 1 30ct bag regular Halls free. I'm now thinking of doing the Halls deal. I have 5 $1 coupons so I could do:
5 Halls Defense @ $4 each
5 Regular Halls @ $1.99 each
Less $5 Halls Defense
Less $9.95 for the Regular Halls
Less $6.58 ECB
$4.42 OOP and get back $10 in ECB.
Halls is our favorite brand and that's a pretty good deal. I don't know that we'll need THAT many cough drops though.
Oo, I didn't know there was a Halls deal! We need cough drops. But like you, I don't think we need that many.
When you bought the two Crests at the same time, did both the ECB print with no problems? (I saw there is a limit of 2 on this deal?) I want to go get some but I'm afraid of them not printing out and there are none of the monthly deal ads there for me to show them.
Plus I want to use my ECB plus coupons so I dunno if they would take more coupons/ECB than I have items.
Yep, they both printed fine. I had the monthly booklet at the counter with me just in case but I didn't need it.
I've never had a problem with having ECBs and coupons for only one item. Last night I bought 2 Robitussim and 2 Advil Cold and Sinus with a $4/$20 coupon, 2 $3 Robitussim coupons, 2 $2 Advil Coupons, a $5 ECB and a $4 ECB. No problem at all.
Oh! And the Halls Pro-health is included in one of the 3 buy $20 get $10 ECB deals. There's the J&J one with tylenol, etc, the one with Robitussim/Advil/Airborne,etc and the one with the Halls and other stuff that I can't remember.
