Apparently that particular kind has a limit of how many you can get. I was planning on getting 5 for $20, use $10 in coupons and then get 10 EB-no luck though!!!

Nope, I'm stocked up on Advil at the moment. I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Did the ad even mention a limit?

Actually it was Advil cold and sinus stuff...the ad did not mention a limit. They also did not have any of the Crest! I am getting really ticked at stores having crap in their ad and then not having it!!!

The limit is how many grams of the regulated drug you can buy a day...here it is 3.9...I bought 2 yesterday and the total grams printed on the receipt, which was 1.3...

Yeah, I was just going to say that ... it probably wasn't a store limit but a government limit. Although it SHOULD still say something about limiting it unless the store has it posted anywhere else in the ad or in the building that they have the right to limit quantities

5 is within the Federal Limit but CVS limits you to only getting 2 on a trip. Kris, there is a printable for Robitussim over on HCW here is what I did to salvage my plan:

2 Advil C&S - $8
2 Robitussim - $12
Totall - $20
Less $4/$20
Less $6 Robitussim coupons (2 $3 printables)
Less $4 Advil coupons (2 $2 coupons)
Less $5 ECB
OOP - $1 plus tax and received back $10 ECB

I had printed more Rob coupons just in case(I wanted the Advil though since I just got 3 Rob last month at WAG). When I went to the different CVS today I asked how many I could get and that pharmacist said she wasn't sure, but she said she'd try 5 if that's what I wanted. Sure enough, it was fine. I could have bought one more to max the govt guidelines (but I didn't). I paid 1.14 OOP. The pharmacist last night wouldn't even try to ring up more than 1-they told me that was all tey could do.

Sarah-I totally forgot about sending you the stamps for those coupons-last week was crazy with getting ready for being gone...I'm going to update my coupon list soon...when I do let me know if you want any of those too and I'll send your stamps then...SORRY!!!

Don't worry about it! I'd completely forgotten you were sending stamps !

Yeah, I knew they COULD have rang up 5 and the second time I went in it was a different pharmacist and he would have let me but we didn't have any robitussim anyway so I just went that way.
