So I thought I had escaped the food stockpile mania that runs loose on this board. But it appears to have gotten hold of me somehow. Yesterday, I was thinking about how full my tiny freezer is. It takes five minutes to move things around and find a spot for anything new. And this thought popped into my head, "If I had a giant freezer, I could fit alot more stuff into it!" And it sounded perfectly logical and normal to buy a freezer just to fit more stuff. I'm lucky I have neither the room nor the money right now or freezer shopping I would go.

I have a small chest freezer I'd be happy to drive over to you for a nickel. Maybe two nickels.

Oh. My. Goodness.

1. Teri, you do not need a freezer.

2. Kim's angel does need some clothes.

Geez this place gets rowdy when no one's looking ... lol.

I am by no means innocent. I just kept it toned down because I thought you all were. Now, I know better.

Why is it unreasonable to buy another freezer just because you want to buy more?

I've thought about buying a second chest freezer .

Me too! I told DH the other day that I couldn't fit any more in the chest freezer and he said we'd just have to get a big upright one then. I started walking around the kitchen looking at spots and asked "Where do you think we could fit it?" His eyes got real big and he said "I was JOKING."

Lol, I still don't think it's a bad idea though .

You see, the difference is Teri really doesn't want another freezer. She has a love/hate relationship with stockpiling.
