I already missed it. I'm in Eastern time and The Early Show ends at 9:00 our time. Boo.... I would've loved to hear their "tips"-- probably pretty scoff-worthy.

You didn'tmiss much. They didn't give any secrets just talked about how many families use coupons (over 80 percent of households-they said) and the lady bragged about saving 57.00 on one grocery bill and I bet several of you ladies can beat that...

They always end up with some sub-par person as the "expert." Imagine if Kim were on there--- she'd have a book deal by the end of the show.

I hope not!

She'd give us all 10 bucks because she knows how much we could get with it. Darn frugality!

Kim would just take her millions to increase her stock pile for nothing.

1. I don't believe 80% of households use coupons unless that's EVER use a single coupon.
2. Saving $57 off what? $58? $300? It could be impressive, or it could be silly.

I'm just a lurker but I'd love to know that too. Wish they had said how much the total was before all the coupons were scanned.

She never said how much she actually spent. I was thinking....57.00 WTH? That's NOTHING!

I didn't believe the over 80 percent use coupons either. I know when I am in the stores with my coupons falling everywhere and waiting for them to be scanned (feeling like I have 10 heads) I am usually the ONLY one around doing it.

Silly TV, thinking they can tell us how to 'play the game' ... *shakes head*.

This weekend, a friend of mine was talking about grocery shopping, needing to save money, blah blah blah. I casually pulled my Meijer receipt out from the day before (Spent $60ish, Saved $85 or so ... not my best). She about peed herself, and is now insisting that I go shopping with her next week so 'show her the ropes'. *shrug* I'm down, but most people don't like what I have to say ... like, no, you don't really NEED frozen pizza.

I get frozen pizza! Mostly for airplane nights when we need a quick meal. For $2.50 and 2 minutes of work (get it from thefreeze,r throw it in the oven) it works for me!

I love frozen pizza. When Chris is flying it is an awesome easy meal.

I'm not big into frozen pizza. I prefer to have fresh pizza or no pizza at all. I'm a pizza snob.
