OK... so I looked at the Publix ad one more time, since it was the last day, and I realized that I *had* to go get the BOGO Mott's. I mean... I had the coupons for it, I've been packing lunches for the girls... I needed those applesauce cups! So I went...

Here's what all I got (because I'm weak... )

4 lipton sides
2 old el paso dinner kits
4 motts applesauce cup packs

total should have been: 18.62. Every second one of everything was free... and I had two .75/1 coupons for the lipton sides (yes, they did slide unnoticed ), one .75/2 lipton sides, two .55/2 coupons for the motts, and a 1.00/2 coupon for the OEP.

My total OOP was 4.96. It's a drag because it puts me over. But it was still quite a lot of stuff for less than 5 bucks.

You're over already? I'm gonna come steal your coupons so you can't shop anymore. *tsk tsk*

I did a little coupon fudging myself the other day. My coupon for the Crest rinse was only good on the 500 ml bottle but it's the 250 ml bottles for free at CVS. I noticed but tried it anyway. It went through. And I'm doing it again today.

Great deal!

You have 3 weeks left in the month though!!!

I did my own fudging a bit too with the crest...I used 2 of the $2 coupons I had left from my mom that expired on 9/30/07. I used them on the 3rd or 4th...can't remember for certain.

DAGGUM! I should have done that!

I don't need anything else... hopefully I can keep myself from spending much more. lol

I did plan on a couple dinners with crescent rolls that I still need to pick up, though. but I figure I'll get those with the good coupons at WD and get five and save the 2 bucks off the top. That should get me five tubes with only a little OOP. Everything else that was planned I have here at the house.

I even got Maddie's milk at Publix already because I was out of the chocolate, so I went to get that. It's so expensive though!! I got to looking at the lactaid and noticed they have chocolate... so I got two half gallons with my coupons for 3.90, and I mix half and half of the chocolate with the white I had in the fridge. And the life on those is well into November, so she has enough to last. But I had to use the coupons before they expired.

That's debateable. I only budgeted 40 bucks... if I spend 60, I'll still have cut my budget by half!

It's only because of my stockpile, Beth. I should come visit and help you get a good stockpile going so you can do that.
