If there is a good price on an item and they are out of stock get a rain check. Even if you do not have coupons and you think that the sale price is more than you like to spend. BECAUSE...you might get coupons later!!!

I had 2 rain checks from Meijers that was about ready to expire for BC cookie mix and Aunt Jemima frozen breakfast. The sale price was $10/10 with the 11th one free. You can imagine how happy I was when last Sunday's inserts had coupons for both

I got
5 BC cookie mixes
6 Aunt Jemima's

OOP: $3.50 Saved $17.39

You can never have too much cookie mix Kim! (And I'm not just saying that because I have like 30 things of it )

I was so glad those coupons came out before our rainchecks ran out!

I've never used those mixes... I always just make my own cookies...

I bet they're good though. Betty crocker is awesome.

Dang it, April. We're not supposed to mention the 'you know whats' (c is for ...) in front of the 'you know who' (b is for ...). LOL. Now, she'll be all coo coo for cocoa puffs.

I'm with you Kim, I always make my own. They're probably really good (and easy), though.

they are so easy that I mixed mine up in an old butter tub the night before last, and then baked half and stuck the other half back in the fridge for today. I did all of this while I was making dinner and cleaning the kitchen.

definately easy

Heehee...I've done that too, except the "other half" didn't make it to the fridge. I ate it all before dinner was ready.

I only bought the PB cookie mix-to make the cookies with Hershey kisses on top. My regular PB recipe doesn't do well for that kind of cookie.

I love homemade chocolate chip cookies. Oohhh...I may have to post about another cookie I love.
