Well, I ended up doing 4 trips today (you can only double 20 coupons per trip and unlimited trips per day). You can tell that I get the free to nearly free items first and then start on the more expensive ones!
Trip 1: spent $1.28, saved $45.62 (97%) - could be my personal best!
Trip 2: spent $5.30, saved $33.13 (86%)
Trip 3: spent $14.06, saved $38.40 (73%)
Trip 4: spent $9.18, saved $22.50 (71%)
Total: spent $29.79, saved $139.65 (82%)
Not amazing, but there was some stuff that I had to have so I'll take it!
I have to go back Friday morning (the truck to replenish the store comes in Thursday night) to try for some free items that got sold out, but I'm totally sick of being in that store!
~Beth~ Wife to my Airman Chris, and mommy to: Anthony Nathaniel (8/31/04), Anastasia Fae (8/01/06), Baby C (lost on 10/12/07), David Cillian (7/31/08), Charles George (4/29/10), and Alan Christopher (2/22/12)
Yes, it was Lowes Foods tripling coupons. There were some good deals, but I noticed that most of the free to nearly free items were gone by about 9:00 Wednesday morning. From what I've read, most stores are getting trucks in tonight so I plan on going out in the morning to get some free fruit snacks.
I do actually have a picture of my stash, but I'd have to walk up to the 3rd floor to get the pictures off the camera and that's just a little more effort than I'm willing to put into it right now!
