UGH! This is so frustrating! The result came back "borderline, they cannot confirm positive or negative, retest in 48 hours!" Grrr...
I must be pregnant though right? In order for the results to be borderline?
Looks like I have to wait until Monday to get the confirmation. I may have to buy a FRER to set my mind at ease.
Here is a pic of my bfp from this morning. I've been using these tests for 5 years now and have never seen even a hint of an evap, and I've even taken them apart hoping to see something.

I don't know too much about it all but from what I have read the chances are HIGH that you are pregnant. I wish you luck hun!

That stinks! This weekend will probably drag by. I'd hit up WAG for a digital test and test in the morning!

Ditto to this. I would never be able to wait the weekend without testing atleast a half dozen times.

You'd think that the blood test results would be conclusive, but sometimes they're just not. I clearly remember one case on the Am I Pregnant? board where a woman got a positive HPT and the blood test results came back negative. But sure enough, a few days later, another blood test was positive. It's pretty rare since the HCG goes to the blood first and urine second. But with HPT's becoming ever more sensitive, it's a real possibility that it's simply too early for a clear positive on the blood test. Hang in there!

Jess, that sucks! My untrained eye sees a line for sure. I'd probably keep testing until it got darker, lol.

I'd be testing all weekend. I'm not patient at all. Good luck.

With Claire I got a REALLY faint positive and for some reason it never got darker. It just stayed faint...but it must have been positive because she is now almost 4 months old!!

I've never ever had an FRER lie to me.
Look at how faint this sucker is! (even outside, in natural light!)
so I had to take it apart to TRY getting a picture of the line!
sure enough... I'm going to have him anytime now.

OMG, you have no idea. I had 2 lab techs trying to get a vein from each arm, and they finally had to use a vein from my HAND, AND use a syringe to literally suck the blood out of me! I am so bruised! lol. I'm not looking forward to doing it again.

Ahhh that is terrible. I have terrible veins too and it really stinks having all those bruises! Drink lots and lots of water sometime that helps me!

Thankfully, I have GREAT veins!
Jess--drink lots of water for at least 24 hours before you go, and don't be afraid to ask for a pediatric phlebotomist! They're a lot better at getting the tiny veins.

Jess - I recognize the first kind of tests, did you get those from early-pregnancy-tests.com? I got a bunch from there and they are REALLY good. I think they start picking up HCG at like a level of 10 and so you probably just caught it really early. I think the blood tests are supposed to be 0-5 = negative (Your supposed to have 0 when not pregnant but some people like me are wacky and always have SOME level, mine's usally 2), and then something like 5-?? is "borderline". I don't know why they call it that. It just means you are pregnant but your level is low so they have to do another test in 48 hours to see if your level is doubling like it is supposed to. Low can just mean it's early and on it's way up (which I bet is your case).
