I'm trying to find/remember a recipe I used to love for Sugar Cookies. They were "drop" cookies (not the kind you roll out) and they were chewy rather than crisp... almost like little cakes. The ingredients were just butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and flour, and at the end of the recipe you combined on Tablespoon vinegar with one teaspoon baking soda, let it fizz, and then stir into the batter. (The kids especially loved that part!) Does anybody have this recipe!? If I can't find it, I may just have to start experimenting...

I don't have that one... but i have a recipe I got a long time ago for ones that are uber soft. They have 1 cup oil and some powder sugar in them. They are really soft and good. I haven't really made them, but I ate them and got the recipe when I was collecting them for "when I got married", when I was 18-19. THose cookies were the bomb.
