That would be quite a feat-she could make millions off that story! I assuming you meant Christmas?

Or she might really mean that he's just that comfortable in there...

I swore I was going into labor last night... I had contractions every 13 minutes--they radiated and everything--but they stopped at about 3AM.

You'd think by the fourth time, I'd know the difference already....

Anyway... I have an appointment with the midwife today; I'm sure I'll get checked this time since this is my due date!!!

Nope, Kris, I really meant Thanksgiving. He didn't come out on the 18th, and as such is never coming out. He may start preschool from Kim's uterus.

Sometimes I feel cheated because I never had contractions that I felt before my water broke. Actually, I did have one that was painful. I did experience the extreme tightening of the uterus a few times when I'd get up at night to pee. So I guess those were contractions, but they weren't painful at all. I wanted to have at least a couple of those bad contractions beforehand so I'd feel like something was happening.

I had contractions, oh say for about 8 hours before we went to the hospital...they were 5 minutes apart at that point. Not painful, but not really comfortable either. Then I got to stay there and continue having contractions without dialating at all! Literally hours and I got to maybe 1 cm. So they started the drugs...about 27 hours after it all began I had our son. When they went to break my water, it was already broken...no idea when that happened though!!!!
