There's a sticky I made with the abbrev. and terms that we use. The 2/10's, 4/20's, etc refer to store coupons (mainly CVS) where you get a certain amount of money off when you spend a specified minimum amount-- the specified amount being the pre-coupon and pre-tax total.

5/20 means $5 off of a $20 purchase. There are other variations, 10/30, 2/10, etc.

$1/2 means a coupon that is $1 off wyb 2.

$1/1 means a coupon that is $1 off wyb 1.

etc...

we'll knowing that...I went to RiteAid today and...

5/$25 giftcard (not sure if i'm posting this right...but, $5 off a $25 riteaid giftcard)

and with that $25 gc I got:

Huggies Baby Wash - $2.50 w/ one huggies coupon for $1.00 off.
Entemann's Cookies ( couldn't resist) normally $5.99, got it for $2.99
Riteaid Brand Contact Solution $5.99
Training toothpaste $3.99
Riteaid Bleach $.99
Cascade: on sale for $2.49
Crest Toothpaste; on sale for $.99 and had a $1.00 coupon

I spent...$23. and some change- am blanking on what else I bought.

this doesn't sound nearly as great as what i've seen you gals do, but, I am learning!

Walmart:

$3.69 for Dover Cream Oil Wash - Had $2.00 off coupon, spent: $1.69
$1.00 Toothbrush has $.75 off coupon

spent: $1.94

Remember to type your RiteAid coupon into the single check rebate system even if you didn't buy any rebate items! You can still earn more gift of savings for all the money you spent. If you haven't earned anything yet, that would put you at the $5 mark at least.

At the end of the month, you'll hit the "request check" button and they'll mail it out to you. Normally takes me about 2-3 weeks to receive it after requesting the check. Although this month is taking longer, grr...
