So, I just tallied everything up for the year...wowsers...it is amazing to see what you spend in 1 year!!!

On average we spent $385/month for groceries, toiletries, dog food and meds, car maintenance supplies, stamps, etc...basically everything to run the house.

It is scary to know we spent about 320/month just on gas for our cars! Can you say gas guzzler??

I am disappointed in our eating out/entertainment/spending money category that came out to 200/month (and that did not include our vacation).

We did better with clothes-roughly 30/month which I don't think is too bad considering the kiddo needs multiple kinds of clothes for the various seasons and buying our shoes alone can be expensive!

I wasn't being frugal the whole year though, so I know these numbers can go down (not so much the gas, but some of the other things!).

I figured I needed a starting point. At the start I had no clue how much we were spending on anything! Bad girl, I know! Then I had a wake up call and realized I did not want to be in debt forever...so we tightened the reigns...and got focused on paying this junk off! I know I can continue to shave more off of these cash expenditures so we can have even more for the debt payoff!

I guess I could probably go back and look at my budgets and just add them up. I have no way of adding to debt so the numbers would all add up

I haven't run my numbers yet, but I'll know by the end of the week. Like I said on Financial, I do the household/personal numbers at the same time I do the business ones, but that won't be until the close of business on the 30th.
