You're not missing much. There are no good deals this week. (although, I don't have a cvs, so there may be good deals to be had there. Dunno.)

I'm going out tomorrow. I haven't had the motivation to go anywhere yet. I don't know that it'll be rocking or anything, though.

Nope, no shopping here. I'm taking a break from CVS during their "end of the year crappy sales" kick they have going on. I'm biding my time until the 6th. Then I'm gonna roll me some EB's like there's no tomorrow.

I have to keep down my spending for the challenge this month anyway.

I haven't done any grocery shopping lately. I did do the after Christmas clearance yesterday and today. Today we got a $300 tree for half off. I'm in love with it but will kick myself if it is still available when they go 75% off (I'm guessing around Sunday). I doubt it will be since there were only 3 left and 2 of the boxes were damaged, we got the only one that wasn't.

I need to take a box of the lights I got yesterday back since half of them don't work. The other 9 boxes were ok though, thank goodness!

I also have to test the rest of the outdoor stuff we got to make sure it all works before we out it up in storage in the shed.

Yeah, we somehow managed to spend about $375 on Christmas stuff AFTER christmas. We got a new tree, ornaments, isicle lights, a set of 3 lighted spiral trees, 3 lighted deer (mama, daddy and baby), and on and on. I'm pleased with it all and it was all at least half off so a lot better than buying it a month ago at full price.

My FAVE find was a huge snowglobe today (I bought a different one yesterday, lol), originally $30, half off like everything else, but there was a teeny chip on the back so they took another 25% off and I only had to pay $11!!

Not a whole lot of shopping going on here for me! Between crappy sales and trying not to spend much, I just haven't gone much. I'm down to about 7 bucks for the challenge (but still way ahead of what I used to spend so I am happy!) Maybe some day I can be as cool as Kim!

I haven't had too many huge deals at the grocery stores. But I did go to the West Point Stevens outlet store that is going out of business. I got a king sheet for $2.09 and I picked up some new pillowcases for my new king sized pillows. They were $1.19 each pack. I thought that there was 1 in each pack so I picked up 8 to have 2 for each pillow. Well, I got home and there was 2 in each pack! So now I have 16 pillowcases. What the heck am I doing with that many pillowcases?

Well I just posted about this in another thread. We have been living off our stockpile. I haven't had the time, energy or motivation to shop this month. The sales suck. Also there was some stuff in our fridge we wanted to use up before vacation.

I went to the BX and bought a Christmas Table cloth, linen napkins, and place mats, and wrapping paper for next year. All 50-75% off.
