Wow, this board has slowed down tremendously. Is it just the busyness of the holiday season or has almost everyone abandoned the board?

I need my frugal mommies! Come back! I'll be good, I promise.

I'm here! I haven't been on too much due to the holidays and I won't be on much for the next few weeks because it's year-end which means a lot of working late but I won't abandon you, I promise!

Yes, I have been slacking myself so I really shouldn't talk. I don't really have the heart to post alot. I miss Kim. She's off with her babies and I'm stuck here all bored most of the day. So I've actually been doing other things instead of burning time on JM. Shocking, I know.

It's been a little weird having so much time off. I only worked a half day today and then I'll work a full day tomorrow. It'll be a crummy payday but the time off was nice, just unusual!

Usually I come home at night and I have tons to read... not as much lately. A lot probably has to do with not discussing great sales...since they haven't been great lately!

I was actually on here quite a bit today, but nobody was posting, so I was here, just refreshing and then looking at my baby, then refreshing, and then looking at the baby... etc... since he doesn't let me put him down for long, so I generally don't bother... unless Maddie is begging for me to pick her up. Then I'll put him down for the few minutes he'll let me while I pick her up and nurse her... and refresh, and then look at Maddie... talk to her so she will go "mmm hmmmm" Then refresh... still nothing... so...

yeah. I was planted here pretty much all day, with one kid or the other in my arms.

I will try to be more animated tomorrow. But for right now, I'm going to bed. I always intend to get to bed early and never do. I'll regret this late night in the morning, I can tell you that.

I am around but not posting a lot either. Mainly because of the holidays, also because JM doesn't email me about posts anymore so I don't here the "ding" when I get new mail. That is how I always knew about the posts. Now I have to physically come into the board to check posts, even the ones earmarked for notification

I am at the in-laws until the 2nd. Not too much to post really. I will post whatever I need to say when I get home anyway. One way I waste time online at home is look at the baby, refresh, look at things on line, or research, look at baby, refresh.

I haven't been down this far on the forums board because of lack of time to get online at all and the fact we have so little money to spend anyways. We have friends that actually gave us money for groceries and friends are bringing us meals once a week to help us out. And we still aren't getting the paper for coupons. In the past (when we were buying the paper) I ended up throwing away most of the coupons cause they were things we never used or needed.

BTW - where is it that you all go to check out the ads or coupons before they come out or whatever it is?

The website for the ads is hotcouponworld.com and the coupon preview is taylortownpreview.com. And I can understand about not cutting the coupons cause it is not stuff you normally buy. I used to be the same way. Then I read more of Kim's posts about her awesome deals with BOGO's and started paying more attention too what was on sale and coupons. It is worth it to clip the coupons and see if those things that you may buy go on sale where you can pick them up for almost free. That and you can trade coupons for ones that you will use. You can save a ton of money at the grocery store, I know that I have cut my bill by about $120 a month and I have sooooo much more food in the house.

Sorry. I've been trying to keep from puking up everything in my body... it's not working so well. I'll try to be around more often.

I'm in and out. I'm trying to split time between being social (as we still have house guests ... since xmas ... *sigh*) and not throwing myself off a bridge. I come here, like Teri, and there's not so much to keep my occupied. Boooo.

I don't know how my online time will be after DH gets home and then after NYE. Times they are a changin' around these parts, so we'll have to see what happens.

I went to bed at 8 last night-like I'm a little kid. My Mom had surgery this morning, and I had to take her. I dropped her off at home with my other sister and now I'm home.

Peeps has made me start thinking of Easter candy I can't get myself to eat the marshmallow Christmas trees that CVS has on clearance-it's just not the same.

I'm on vacation through the end of the year and don't have as much time to post as when I'm at work. I'll be on more after the 2nd.
