So it looks like everything is set for hubby to teach 2 classes this spring. Normally he teaches 1 undergrad class (16 weeks) and 1 graduate class (8 weeks) but there weren't enough people for the undergrad class, but they had another grad class they offered him. So, less teaching time, but more $$$! I love it! The spring is always great money wise...tax return, teaching money, yearly raise in March, and bonus!

I'm glad there's enough demand for his classes. Go Kris' DH.

He usually ends up with less than 10 people per class, but since it is a masters class and they only offer it in the spring they pretty much have to have it. Last year he taught like 4 people bc 2 of them needed it to graduate that semester! Plus it keeps him connected to the Universtiy (it is where we both went). He is also on the alumni board.

The university policy was to drop all non-minimum classes, regardless of need, which is lame. So, we'd have nine people, regardless of level, and it would get dropped because it wasn't 10. Stupid annoying.

Another reason to love our former school! They truly are small enough to care (as part of their motto). I think they are up to about 6K students now! Small, caring, but PRICEY!!!!

That rocks that they're cool about it. Both the CC that I taught at and the university (well, universities, really) that I went to had the same rule. No minimum, no class, no questions. I'm glad he doesn't have to deal with that.
