I have just decided to make my life a little easier. I'm not doing the rebates for the Breeze. I was thinking back to how much a PITA it was to do the Contour rebates: I did huge transactions to disguise the fact that I got them for free, I had that issue with not being able to use the CVS $50 coupon with a $/$ CRT. It was alot of trouble. And for the amount of money involved, entirely worth it in the end. But $9.99? Nah, I don't think so. I'll already be making that in EB's on each monitor anyway. So I think it's time to trade in my greediness (I am sooo greedy when it comes to stuff like this) for some easier, less painful transactions.

Now--back to the scenarios I go!

Just like you weren't going to get in on the nova deal at all because it was something you didn't need?

You know, for the Contour rebate, I just bought the monitor and a couple other things. I then took a sharpie and blacked out everything else that was on the receipt. I figured that I was only out $.41 if I didn't get it. I got it anyway. Just a thought.

Oh, I'm buying them and making $10 each on something I don't need, for sure. I just won't get the extra $10. If there was some way it could work, I'd send you the stuff for the rebates. But I doubt they'd give you money back for something that was clearly free.

Sonja, I had heard of doing that. I'd wondered if that would work.

If I get my clearly free Contour rebate, then I'll send in the Breeze ones. I'm waiting with baited breath to see if I'm as lucky as 1shortmama (I think that's who it was) who got hers. *fingers crossed*
