I read on several different places last night that Target is having mass baby gear clearance. Some people were saying there stores weren't so great but some were saying there was 50%-75% off almost everthing in the baby section. Highchairs, playpens, bouncy seats, etc. All styles and brands.

I'm trying to stay away but my curiousity is getting the better of me.

I don't need more baby stuff. I don't need more baby stuff. I don't need more baby stuff.

Although, April could probably use some stuff at her house for when she's babysitting, hmm....

Ha! I know. I'm trying to be good, I swear. My mom told me not to worry about getting another playpen/highchair,etc to have at April's because she knew my aunts wanted to have some of the big stuff left to get me so I really should save myself the money.

Um, yea. No more baby gear. Just keep repeating to yourself ...

I will not go to Target.

I will not go to Target.

Mandi wants to go, but I will not go to Target.

If I feel up to venturing that far with this many, I'll look at the baby stuff for sure. I always do. I kind of want a swing, and I kind of want a bouncy chair. I may or may not end up getting them... I just don't know. I have such a hard time spending on that stuff when it doesn't get used for very long and loses so much of its value...

Hmmm I am going to have to check it out! The only baby gear that I REALLY need for this one yet is a pack and play. I have DD infant carseat yet and it is great still, I got a swing from our local consignment shop, still have the highchair and had a bouncer bought for me.

Oh believe me I know! We may or may not have 3 bouncy chairs. One was my nephews, that one will stay at my Mom's and 2 are both from yard sales but look brand new, one will stay at my house and one will stay at April's. Total cost to me for 3 bouncy chairs? About $8.

I just realized we have 2 swings too. I bought one at Target on Clearance for $25 and my Mom got one at a yard sale (again, looks BRAND NEW, just a more simple model without the fancy music and mobile) for $5 that I'm going to try to snag for April's house but will probably stay at my Mom's (my Mom has fantasies of me and the baby coming to visit every weekend, all weekend). Eh, who knows, the baby may not even like being in a swing.

Sarah, you are right about baby may not like a swing. Peyton was done with his by the time he was 3 months. He only like the jumperoo after that.

Maddie would occasionally sit in hers... she'd tolerate it on days, and other days she was just NOT having it. I also have a sling to wear my baby. But I would kind of like a break from that now and then...

I was at Target a couple days ago and nothing was on clearance which totally blows. Maybe this will change in a couple days cause that would rock!

Hmmm... I need to go to Target tonight anyway, so I'll have to take a peek. Thanks for the tip!

And dangit, Kim, if I'd known 3 days ago you needed a bouncer, I'd have shipped you the one we just donated.

Hmmm...I wonder if they have a sit n stand stroller. I might like one of those. Although, I don't really have the money right now, I'm trying to save for taxes. *sigh*

I've never even seen a sit and stand stroller in a store...
Are you saving to pay to have the taxes done or do you think you'll have to pay this year?

I took a peek because I ran in to get a new calendar for the kitchen and ours was at 30-50% off on a lot of stuff.

We do, but recently decided that we'd rather have the extra money in each paycheck monthly rather than get a refund each year. BUT, we overshot a bit. We would have been dead on except that dh made quite a bit more money this year than last, and I used last years numbers to calculate. We'll leave it the same this year, and the new baby ought to make it dead even.
