I'm having some light pink spotting. It's way too early for any kind of implantation bleeding you think?
Is this more likely a side effect of the prednisone (Steroid) I had to take for my CT scan on Wed?
Any ideas?

I know prednisone can cause some menstrual problems, but I'd probably POAS in a couple wks anyway.

Well it was just a little light pink and it's stopped.

I haven't had breakthrough bleeding since I stopped the pill (after a month) in June.

Yeah that really sounds typical of ib but on the other hand if you had bookie recently I'd say within the last 24 hrs it could be your cervix got a bit bruised and it's a bit of blood from the irritation

4dpo is really too early for IB. I would guess it's a s/e of the prednisone. But I guess we'll know for sure in another week or two.

It could be O spotting. I have O spotting this cycle and have done some research on it (I'm 2 DPO). It could be from the egg breaking through the follie? That's my guess!

Then, on the downer side, I had a cycle where my hormones were all screwy and I had spotitng on and off through the entire 2ww. Reason for that was shown to be a drop in estrogen levels, and then a quick recovery by progesterone, but the progesterone levels weren't strong enough... so I guess it was a weak O?

So, if you don't spot any more, you may have a nice healthy O there!
