It is so frustrating. DH has been allergic since we got and I was slightly. But we put up with it because we loved Riley. Riley is a Golden. Well, our DD is acting like DH does when allergic...pinpointed a problem.

Now we are trying to find a GOOD home for him, but everyone wants a little puppy or a little dog.....(Sigh).

"Riley is 10 mths old and a sweetheart. He has LOTS of affection to give to the right home. He does get along with other dogs.. He is great with kids. He does know some obedience commands and the hand signals for them. He isvery smart and would like to go to class and learn more! He is UTD. We are upset to see him have to go, but our 16 mth old seems to be allergic to him and we are, but were just dealing with it because we loved him so much. However, because our young daughter is allergic we have to put her health first. He come with my crate & toys. He am a purebreed he does not have papers. He am a handsome looking guy. Pm me for my number!

This is what I've put in ad places and I'm just sad we have to do this. DH is calling shelters and such tomorrow. Someone just didn't bother to show and they basically sounded like they were taking him.

ANYONE in IL?? Or close? Need a dog? I just want a good home, but DH is right we need to get him out for the kids as well as our health. My asthama has been much worse since we got him.

Just wanted to vent where I knew pet lovers would be. Because even though there are time he frustrates me, I really love Riley to death and have put my heart into working with him.Ok, I'll get off my moping!

Have you found a home yet?

I would consider taking your dog, but my DD's name is Rylee and it would get too confusing here.
