Sometimes I find myself just staring at my chihuahua adn thinking how much I love him. It's sickening!! I swear, he's like my child!! One of my biggest concerns when I got pregnant was if Chewy would like the baby or not!! I'm not as worried any more, I'm sure he'll be fine. Anyone else treat your dog like he/she's your child? Or am I just weird?

My dogs are definitely my babies. Maybe I'm weird too!

Congrats on the new baby! We've had some great discussions about getting your dog ready for baby. I'm sure you can do a search to find them.

I love my boys like they were children. They are also spoiled rotten!!! They are deff. part of the family, not just dogs. If your wierd, than we're all weirdos

I think the fact that we have a pet board on the site says enough I remember getting more attached to my dog when I was pregnant, I would make her come on the bed from under it so I could cuddle and sleep by her lol... she didnt mind of couse!

My dogs are one of the reasons I don't get along well with my MIL..she HATES my dogs.

My dogs are my kids...they sleep in bed with DH and I (Brodie even has a pillow) and they are allowed on the sofa...they are spoiled rotten.

You're not weird LOL.. I keep thinking.. "If I love my dog THIS much... how MUCh am I going to love my baby???" ... I can't imagine that kind of love.. I guess I'll know in a month or so what that feels like!! *happpy sigH*

Oh my gosh! It is such an amazing love, I never thought I could love someone/thing so much! You will not know until you are their though! Soon enough

What?!?! You mean, other people treat their dogs like, um, dogs?!?!? Those people are just weird! (Really!) We're the normal ones! Have you met my kids, Roxy and Mason? Seriously, since my dogs sleep with us too, I've given attached parenting way more thought!
