My dad's Husky has a phobia of thunder. He gets so scared, poor guy For my kitties, Lola is fearless. Baby is scared of vets. As soon as we get into a car he thinks he's going to the vet. He starts trembling and shedding like crazy!
the only real problem causer in our house is the dreaded vacuum cleaner!!! dave couldn't care less about it, but gus freaks out, starts shaking then runs and finds somewhere to hide...jasmine is the funniest cause she full out tries to attack it!! the funniest part is shes an ITTY-BITTY little girl (little over 2lbs) and she just goes INSANE! bites at her bed or blanket then lunges at the vacuum-only to retreat and jump all over the place (luckily she just makes runs at it and doens't actually try to bite it-nothing would ever get done if she was always right infront of it! lol!!)
Fireworks/firecrackers/gunshot anything of that nature drives them both nuts, but the older one is more fearful. She usually has to get a dose of benadryl around the holidays since all the rednecks think it's ok to shoot them off in city limits.
Jocelynn, the pit, is absolutely terrified of plastics grocery bags. The rustling of the bag scares her, but if you shake out a garbage bag it sends her running off with her tail between her legs. It's so silly.
Albert, the dachsund mix really isn't afraid of anything. The weird thing is that we used to have pet rats and he was absolutely terrified of them and wanted nothing to do with them. When we would let them out to play, he would stay on the other side of the room and if they came near him he would run away or growl at them. It was so weird because he usually could care less about any other animals.
Rufus is quite scared of the freezer. I suspect somone let something fall out on to him at one point, because he never was afraid of it until we moved into our new home. We're slowly breaking him of that fear though.
He also dislikes the vaccume very much. He'll find a quiet room to hide in until the vaccuming is done.
