Alright, here are some pictures of my stray. Name is still up for debate. My first choice is Stella. But other possibilities are Cleo or Cairo, because she's built exactly like those Egyptian cat statues.
Today we found out she is negative for FIV, FeLV, Heartworm, and intestinal parasites. She is anemic, but that should be resolved once she's not so malnourished. We're guessing she's between 6 months, and 1 year. We also realized she's been declawed on all four paws. Completely ridiculous for it to be done in the first place IMO, but for her to then be dumped, that's just....cruel.
She did very well all in all. She was very tolerant, very sweet.
On to the pictures. These were taken last week.
I took this today. It's kind of hard to see in pictures, but her ribs, hips and shoulders aren't as obvious when you look at her now.
Aww she looks a lot like our black kitty Raven. Very cute. I wouldn't worry too much about the claw deal, our cat who passed away a few years back was declawed on all 4's (we adopted him that way) and he lived a good life. He even got out and was gone for 5 months in a VERY rural part of the country with a tiger (yep a tiger) on the loose, with owls, coyotes, and other predators and he came back to us safe and sound. She'll still be as happy as can be . Hope she continues to thrive and that's GREAT about the negatives!
She looks so sweet. I had a black and white kitty named Cleo back in high school. I like the name Cairo too, it's more original, but all the names you picked are beautiful! Let us know what you decide.
