Hello everyone--My name is Kristin and I have two cats (and a soon-to-be crawling baby).
Does anyone recommend any floor cleaners that are safe for pets (i.e. their paws)? I hate to use Swifer Wet Jet b/c of the chemicals. I have searched high and low at my grocery store, but I really can't find anything.

We just use pinesol. But I know at the pet stores there is that Orange miracle stuff. I can't remember the exact name. But you might be able to use that on the floors. I would have to look at the container. I hope you find something that works for you.
I prefer to use organic/Earth friendly products anyway. Any cleaners/chemicals used in your house actually stay in your house which is why in most homes the air is more polluted inside than the air outside. It is also a good idea to open your windows and let your house air out about once a month, if you are using any cleaning chemicals on a regular basis.
What kind of floors do you have? Diluted white vinegar is a good way to go. You can squeeze some lemon or orange into it to help with that vinegary smell. Another great option is a steam mop. All it is is hot water, no cleaning solution at all, and it cleans and sanitizes just as well, if not better than chemical cleaners. We use the shark steam mop and it works great and drys fast.
