Does anyone have any picky eaters? My dogs n cats arnt a bit picky, and neither is my bunny but my guinea piggie is the pickiest!
Apparently when I rescued her she was used to only eating the green pellet food. Ive tried twice now to get her the harvest food with the little veggie pieces and nibbles in it... and she just picks them all out and throws them, and then eats the green pellets that are left after her destruction lol
Nope. I don't tolerate picky eaters. For the dogs the food gets left down for 15 minutes if you're done great if not it's picked up and it's put down 12 hours later. Took my newest addition my GSD about 5 days before he ate but he finally broke down, got on a schedule, and started eating twice a day in his alloted time with what he was given.
My cats have a 4 pound feeder, what's in there is what's in there and they eat when they want.
My cats are a bit picky at times. The older ones are use to having food there all day and if they run out they eat the dogs food, and I usually shoo them away. Odie will only eat two kinds of food to, so I just stick with those kinds, it really isn't to much trouble to give them what they want. They can't speak but they know what they like. Not giving them a choice is like someone telling you this is what you are eating and if you don't like it tough. So I buy and feed them what they like.
I have learned alot over the years but the best thing I have learned is I love... sloppy baby kisses, messy handed hugs, tooth paste pictures drawn for me on the mirror, that a dandylion bouquet is prettier then roses anyday and most of all I have learned there is no love like that of a child!!
Our dog gets dry grain free food. She's not picky at all.
One cat gets wet food because dry food makes her pack on the pounds, but sometimes if we aren't looking she'll try to steal the dog food or the other cats food. lol.
Our other cat only eats dry food, he refuses wet.
Nora is very picky. There are certain dry foods she won't eat. Luckily most of the dry foods I've tried she likes, and she likes the one I'm currently giving her (Solid Gold Indigo Moon). She is VERY picky about her wet food, though. She only likes and will eat about half of the kinds I offer to her.
