Okay, so for those of you with dogs, which shampoo have you found that you like the best? I have 2 boxers and they start to stink after not very long so I'd like to get input on what you guys have found that keeps your pooch smelling fresh the longest. Thanks a bunch!

We take Tonka to the groomers, but in between visits I use the waterless shampoo. It is a powder that you brush through their coats and it deodorized, it smells really good and it only takes a couple of minutes.

I bought it at Petsmart in the shampoo/grooming section.

Yeah, I had some of that when we got our old puppy she had been fixed and couldn't get wet, but I need real shampoo as my dog cannot go to the groomers as she isn't permitted to have vaccinations, no rabies certificate, no groomers. And they are both easy to bath in the back yard, they just start to smell like a dog within a couple of days so I'd like to find something that lasts a bit longer. Thank you for your input though I appreciate it!

My eskie has a "self cleaning coat," and she's (as you can guess by the eskimo name) a northern breed, so we don't bathe her very often... just if she rolls in something in the yard! The golden though, she sometimes needs a bath (also not very often), but because of her very sensitive skin, the only things we can use are aveeno, dove body wash, or baby shampoo. We've tried food after food, and shampoo after shampoo, but so far that's the best we've found. We get the hypoallergenic versions of those shampoos (no perfumes or dyes) because I also use them on me and Ben for our excema. They don't stink, but they don't smell all frilly or anything like that either.

Well, I read quite a few reviews of this and found that a lot of people agreed with you hehe. So I ordered it this evening. Hope it does a good job! I also got the in between baths spray to help "freshen" them up once a week or so.

Thanks for the input everyone I appreciate it!
