Our cat Mr blackie more likely prefers to hang around me as in he will go lay next to me when I'm on the computer , in bed ,or even follow me around. Brendan would love to have Mr blackie pay attention to him instead he ends up getting annoyed with Brendan and all Brendan would do is hold the cat and the cat would try to bite him and then when Brendan would go after him Mr blackie would put his paw up . He also backs up when Brendan approaches him and I just wonder if that has to do with the previous behavior Brendan had when he was younger that he outgrew of not being rough with the cat so then why after awhile being not rough with the cat that our cat seems to be fearful of Brendan. We have had him since 2006 .I don't hold our cat that much since he even stopped liking to be held by me so more likely I just leave him to his own accord which I figure he is getting up there and he sleeps alot . He used to be a very active cat but lately he just spend his day and nites sleeping even when he comes up to me he falls asleep next to me when I'm at the computer .

Usually whoever is around. Our animals tend to prefer us both equally, just depends on what they want. I give more pets and attention where hubby plays with them more, so just depends on what they are looking for on who they go to.

Dottie is for sure my dog . She loves to see DH when he gets home from work and she checks on the family if we are in separate rooms and says goodnight to the kids before she goes to her bed. But if I leave a room she goes with me. The only exception is like now at midnight she is in our room in bed and I am out on the computer . And in the mornings DH lets her out and feeds her so she leaves me haha.

Our beagle is home all day with me and she'll follow me if I leave the room. But if my husband is home, she would rather be with him, unless he gets out the stuff to clean her ears.. he has a whole routine. He gets out the cleaner and the cotton balls and gets on the floor and when she sees this, the dog runs to my side and tries to get in my lap as if to say, 'Mommy, save me!' it's so cute! Then I tell her to go see 'Daddy' and she tucks her tail under her butt, lowers her head and slowly walks over to him and lays on her side ready to go lol. Also, if one of us goes to the restroom and we don't close the door all the way, she'll nose her way in and set on the bath rug and wait for us haha

The male animals like me better and my female dog prefers my boyfriend...well any man. She loves men.

Every single pet in my home is for sure a momma's pet. I feed them, I play with them. they are mine. Dh has recently gotten upset because his DOG prefers to lay by me instead of him. Not my fault that I feed him... lol

my husbands and my puppy is half border collie, so he prefers whoever is the "straggler".. if one of us walks away, he will follow us. he doesnt know how to herd, but he still has that instinct to chase.

its actually annoying. ill get up at night to use the bathroom and winston will push the door open and walk under my feet.

Ares is attached to my feet, he's always there beside me. Hades doesn't really attach to anyone but if he's with anyone, it's me. Becca wants to be with anyone, doesn't matter who it is, she just wants attention 24/7.
