How many of us have cats and how do we take care of our cat litter boxes ?

I use the scoop and scoop the poop and clumps out into garbage then every other 2 weeks I replace the litter with a good cleaning along the box before I put the litter in because if you just dump in new litter over a dirty box the smell of leftover urine will stick to the box then it will reek big time !

I have a Booda Dome Deluxe and use Worlds Best Cat Litter. I scoop every 3-4 days and that's it. I use enough litter that the urine rarely if ever reaches the bottom and doesn't smell so haven't needed to change the entire box. It *can* go a week if we're out of town or something to that effect, but after a week it's pretty full and really NEEDS to be cleaned. When we're here it's every 3-4 days and that works for us/them. They don't go very much.

Well the Booda Dome deluxes are HUGE boxes. I use about a box per month and they're 17 pound boxes. I usually have at least 6-8 inches of litter in there at a time.

When I first got him and he did have one, I used the worlds best cat litter and cleaned twice a week or so.

We have two cats and 3 litter boxes. We use Arm and Hammer corn litter and we scoop once or twice a day. Every few weeks I throw away old litter, clean the box, and put the new litter in.
