We saw him sniffing around the area near the litter box so I was figuring he was going to go poo there hence the reason why we moved litter box in that area which I put him in the litter box he went pee then went running behind the ET center to go poop so I wonder why he does that ?

Plus he knew he did a wrong thing that he went running away from us and this even happens when his litter is clean he will just pee or and poo next to the box. Most of the time it's that but once a week we see him going behind the ET center.

He doesn't "know" he did anything wrong, he's reacting to you being angry and the energy that you put off because of that.

Have you had him thoroughly checked out by a vet to make sure he doesn't have an illness? The #1 reason for cats going to the bathroom outside of the box is being sick, #2 being that the box is too dirty for their liking. Some cats are okay with days worth of excrement being in there and some cats have to have it 100% clean each time they go in there.

Have you changed litter brands/types recently? This can be another issue. Do you ever clean out the entire box, i.e. dump all of the litter and clean the box with soap and water? That is something else you can try.

But I'd first say start with a trip to the vet to rule out a medical issue.

Our cat is pretty smart as we don't get angry at our cat as accidents happen but I say he knew he did a wrong thing because after I saw him trying to go potty and poop next to his litterbox I put him in there then he sat down to go pee in his box then jumped out of it and behind the ET Center when we can't see him going but we know because his poop stinks.

We were not even chasing him all as I on the couch,Brendan on same couch he looks at us as he gets out of there then goes running when we are not heading towards him.

I go find something to reach the poop behind ET center as to get behind a ET is a tight squeeze but if I don't take care of cat poo right away will stick to carpet and I can't even go behind there to clean especially when I need thin stick to try to get the poop.

No change of litter, all the same, clean box, soak it in soap and water ,rinse, dry it off put in litter.

He likes to have his box very clean so we keep it that way.

Plus with him keep his litter same all the time otherwise he is one who won't use his litterbox at all because he don't like any litter change so we keep it the same.

I did call a vet because I'm wondering if he's having bladder issues as maybe a issue with associating litterbox with pain hence why he's not using it.

Could also be that you're not cleaning it up well enough behind there. Is there a way to move the ET centre? Cats go where they have gone before (dogs too), so if they can smell it, they will continue to go there. If you're not getting to it and cleaning it up with a good enzyme cleaner and SCRUBBING it, then he will continue to go there.

I also think a vet visit would be a good idea, but even if he is totally healthy, the smell will continue to draw him back.

Can't even get behind there to clean it as it's a big ET stand and the only 2 ppl who would be strong enough to move it have severe allergies to our cat. All I can do is reach to drag the poo over as I can't even get my hands thru on the side he goes to the bathroom.

Then, unfortunately, even if he is ill and it is resolved, the likelyhood of him continuing to go there is pretty high.

Maybe search in your area to see if there's a handy man you could pay $20 to or something to come move it once you get the problem figured out. Or see if there's a way to block it off so he can't get behind there.

Good luck.
