When you go out with your lovely dog, did you realize you have made some mistakes?

Mistakes one: put the dog on the co-pilot position
Some people like the easy way, directly put the dog next to the co-pilot position, so that while driving you can still see the dog. In fact, doing so is very unscientific. First of all, regardless of the dog body size, the seat belt can’t protect it, and travel by car to the outskirts most of the road speed fast, it is easy to hurt the dog when the brakes.

The right approach: small dogs put into the dog carrier on the rear seat; large dogs on the rear seat, and driving attention to controlling the speed, try to avoid braking.

Mistakes two: let the dog running wildly
To the suburbs, the dog will be very excited. At this time, many owners would let the dog running around wildly. The constitution of the dog in the city degenerate much than their ancestors, often inadvertently fracture dog go to the Animal Hospital because of the outskirts running.

The right approach: the owner should first control the dog Leash to familiarize itself with the environment, and then choose a relatively flat place for the dog sports.

Mistakes three: lock the dog in a car
Some master prepare meals after playing tired; while the restaurant is not allowed dogs to enter, the owner put the dog in a car. In fact, the car is not safe in the sun exposure, the temperature inside will be a sharp rise in such an environment, perhaps only half an hour would end a dog's life.

The right approach: bring your own food, and also give the dog some in its Pet Feeders under the shade to enjoy the outskirts of lunch, the car is the best stop in a cool place, avoid exposure.

On traveling in the car with any dog I would recommend seatbelting them into the back seat. They make dog seatbelts. Personally, I have a harness with a D ring on it and you attach the clip to the D ring and the male end of the buckle into the female end of the buckle (it's special, you buy them at the store) and your dog is secured in the event of a crash to protect the dog as well as you (50+ pounds of forcing flying around in the vehicle can kill a human). They also make carriers, and seatbelt devices for small dogs that will work with a vehicle's seatbelt. I also buckle in cat carriers using the vehicle's regular seatbelt through the handle fo the carrier and into the female end of the buckle. SAfety First!

PS

We purchased our dog seatbelts online for $10 each, so they're cost effective as well.

I think one of the biggest mistakes people make is bringing their dog to a street festival, farm market, etc., when it is very hot. The ground is too hot for their paws.
