My little bandit has been acting weird the last few days so we took him to the vet to see if tranquilizers or something would take the edge off his nervousness. We thought it had to do with him being worked up about me breaking my arm. His routine is screwy & I can't hold him. He refuses to be outside and hides all the time. He's always been nervous, it's just been escalating. The vet did some testing & come to find out he has a raging bladder infection. She asked if he's been drinking lots of water & come to think of it, he has. for several months now he's been thirsty, we just thought it was because it's 105 outside, lexi is the same way. His physical exam was perfect, no noticeable pain, no fever, nothing. If we hadn't insisted on bloodwork heaven knows how long he'd be sick I feel like such a bad doggy mommy.

when lexi's sick, the whole world knows.

Awww... you're not a bad mommy. Sometimes pets just don't show any signs like fever, etc. Heck, sometimes even kids don't tell you when they're sick. Glad you're getting it treated now.

Don't be so hard on yourself. Sometimes it's really hard to tell what's wrong. The important thing is that he's getting the proper care he needs now. Hugs to Bandit.
