I am still very new to this whole pet ownership thing.

Our 6th month old Maine Coon Cat is getting neutered next week and I was wondering if anyone had any advice who had done this before. I honestly just have no idea what to expect.

Thanks!

Looks like I came across this a little late so my advice is probably null. Honestly, I wouldn't expect much at all. In four cats I've never had much of incident happen. He will probably just want to sleep for a while. The medicine can cause nausea. You may want to keep him from sleeping on your bed or in any places where vomit would be hard to reach to clean up.
