This is our first baby and I'm so worried about our fur baby getting jealous! I really don't want to have any issues and have to get rid of our pup because of them so I'm trying to do everything I can to make the process as smooth as possible for everyone

I've done some research online but the only thing I got from it was that when baby is born, send the blanket she has been swaddled in home with a guest and place that blanket on dog's bed so that they can get used to the smell. That's about it lol

Anyone have any tips for me on things to do to get our dog ready for the arrival of our little girl?

I would maybe start with photos, and then showing the animal from the distance, until I feel that the baby feels completely safe and relaxed.

Oh wow... I know it's weird but I didn't even think about if baby girl would be the one scared and nervous! :O I was thinking my dog would be the one to worry about lol but I do like the idea of showing baby the dog from a distance to see how she reacts to the pup. If she seems interested then I'll make sure my dog looks relaxed too
